So your celebrating the faux New Years?

Happy New years! Since I will be experiencing 2009 before you, if anything bad should happen, I will call to warn you, thats right, that means I will be calling you from the future.

Dropped the parents off in Atlanta today, did not see much of the city, however I did come across Bobby Brown Parkway....

"Nobody told me we were in Alabama!"

My outing in Columbus GA:

First I was excited to see a Piggly Wiggly, that excitement faded when I realized I was in Alabama.....

Still Alabama......

Now were in downtown Columbus, there were multiple of these whig/hat shops, I wonder if I could get a job here.....

The downtown has a southern charm to it

Columbus State University

I can picture myself on this balcony drinking sweet tea and throwing beads down to the shirtless ladies.

As close to Balckbird as I'm going to get in Columbus, 2 suits for $99, what a steal!

KNUT!

Stuffed animals in shop windows is all the rage here.

Is Georgia conservative or liberal?

That's Bananas!

This is my first installment of That's Bananas! It is simply my observations of things that I think are well, banana's in Georgia.

I love me some Kripsy Kreme, for the first time I'm living in a place that actually has a Kripsy Kreme in the town. Syd and I often stopped in Mt. Vernon on our way back from Seattle and would each get a couple donuts, usually an original glazed, creme filled, and a maple glazed donut. Well apprently here in Georgia, Krispy Kreme does not, has never, will never, carry a maple glazed donut, That's Banana's!

Merry Christmas from the South

We have arrived! Sydney and my parents made it out without a hitch around 6:30 but Mesa and I got stuck in the Spokane airport because it was too cold for puppy dogs to fly. The next flight was not until 1:00 so we hung around in the lost baggage area and played fetch.

That was until we were asked to leave the airport. For the next 4ish hours we hung out playing in the skybridge. Macy got lots of attention and even a cookie from a crazy old lady.

Our flight from Spokane to Salt Lake City was an hour late and I thought we were going to miss our flight to Atlanta, but luckily the plane going to Atlanta (Which was coming from San Francisco, a coincidence? I think not!) was late as well. We made it into Atlanta at about 12:30 am and I was sweating already, in December, at 12 am..... I picked up my bags and Mesa (who seemed a bit peeved about the whole situation), and my brother Brian* drove us to Columbus, which is about an hour away. Anyway I stink and need a shower. I Hope you all have a good holiday of your choosing!

80's night in Georgia?

Hello Loves:
As I do not foresee myself finding an 80's night in Columbus, I was wondering if you could let me know what songs you recall being played at Rumors so I can make a mix and have my own personal 80's night when I get a hankering for cheap beer and tequila body shots.
Stanks!
